Terms & Conditions

Premier Starters & Alternators (PSA)

These Terms & Conditions explain how we do business at Premier Starters & Alternators (“PSA”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By contacting us, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Our aim is simple: to supply quality automotive parts clearly, fairly, and professionally.

1️⃣ About PSA

Premier Starters & Alternators is a UK-based automotive parts supplier specializing in:

  • Starter Motors
  • Alternators
  • Bearings & Seals
  • Ignition and electrical components

We supply both trade customers (garages, mechanics, resellers) and private vehicle owners.

Our website is a catalogue and information site, not an online shop.

2️⃣ How Orders Work

PSA does not sell products directly through online checkout.

All orders are handled by:

  • Phone
  • WhatsApp
  • Email

The process is:

  1. You contact us with your vehicle or part requirements.
  2. We check availability and send you a quote.
  3. You confirm acceptance of the quote.
  4. We issue an invoice and arrange supply.

A sale only exists once a quote has been accepted and confirmed by PSA.

3️⃣ Pricing & Availability

All prices shown on the website or mentioned in conversation are guides only. Final prices, availability, delivery costs and VAT (if applicable) are confirmed in your official quote.

We reserve the right to update prices if supplier costs or availability change before an order is confirmed. For more details, please read the following points carefully.

3.1. All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes, duties, or delivery charges unless stated otherwise.

3.2. Payment must be made in full prior to acceptance of the Order and before Goods are dispatched. We do not offer credit terms unless expressly agreed in writing.

3.3. We accept payment by:
Debit or credit card
Secure payment link
Bank transfer

3.4. Orders will not be processed or dispatched until cleared funds have been received in full.

3.5. Where payment is made by bank transfer, it is your responsibility to ensure that all bank charges are paid and that the correct reference is used. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect payment details.

3.6. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any Order if payment is not received within a reasonable time or if payment fails for any reason.

3.7. Ownership of the Goods shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full.

4️⃣ Part Selection & Fitment Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the customer (or their mechanic) to ensure the correct part is ordered.

While we are happy to help check compatibility, PSA is not responsible for:

  • Parts ordered using incorrect vehicle details

  • Incorrect part numbers supplied by the customer

  • Installation issues or fitment errors

Electrical and mechanical parts must be matched carefully. We always recommend professional installation.

5️⃣ Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and depend on:

  • Supplier availability

  • Courier services

  • Location

PSA is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or events outside our control, but we will always assist in tracking and resolving issues. Risk passes to the customer once goods are delivered.

Electrical and mechanical parts must be matched carefully.

6️⃣ Returns & Faulty Items

We stand behind the quality of the parts we supply.

You may return an item if:

  • It is faulty

  • It was supplied incorrectly by PSA

In these cases, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange inspection, replacement or refund where appropriate.

Returns may be refused if:

  • The part was ordered incorrectly

  • The part has been fitted or damaged

  • The part shows signs of misuse, incorrect installation, or modification

Electrical components are tested before dispatch and must be returned in their original condition.

7️⃣ Warranty

Any warranty provided is subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Electrical system faults

  • Over-voltage or mechanical damage

  • Normal wear and tear

PSA will assist in processing warranty claims where applicable.

8️⃣ Limitation of Liability

PSA supplies automotive parts only.

We are not responsible for:

  • Labour costs

Our liability is limited to the value of the part supplied.
